HELLO FOLLOWERS AND FRIENDS IF I COULD HAVE A MOMENT OF YOUR TIME, YES.
This is my friend Marie (or kaarms if you will), we have been friends for a few years now and we are super duper bros from the 4th dimension.
Unfortunately she has been sorta bummed out lately about a lot of things, and I hope I can send a little inspiration her way WITH A PUBLIC DECLARATION OF MY LOVE FOR YOU FRIEND.
You have worked so hard to finish college and you work so hard on your art it bums me out to here you want to give up or to even feel down at all because YOU ARE GREAT, CARING PERSON! And your art is always so good, and the thing is you draw it so fast. I always look up to your methods and how quick you can spit stuff like this out and I just want you to know that.
ALL OF MY followers should check her art out (she has commissions wooooo), very awesome stuff.
And marie I meant to tell you this the other night before I passed out but I remember this time last year roughly I had the same exact feelings about my art as you (and I still do, I think we all do at some point) but I can assure you that you can do anything you want with your art and if you feel like art wasn’t meant to be for you then that’s okay. You only have one life and you are super young and still have plenty of time to figure out what you wanna do (whatever that may be). I know art for you had a rocky start (the whole wrong major fiasco thanks art institute!) but I have 1000% faith if you wanted to go into animation you could. If art is getting you down maybe a break would help. At one point (right before I disappeared from the internet for almost half a year), drawing would literally give me a panic attack (I wasn’t getting good fast enough/my art wasn’t good to begin with/I’ll never get the opportunity to do what I want because of my life circumstances). And over time I realized that art is what I love and love for that should come first before I put so many burdens on the thing that I love. And sometimes you need to give it space to realize your bond with it, just like with people I guess ahah. Don’t give up on whatever makes you happy, art or otherwise!!
